

Siobhán is a native Irish Gaelic / Gaeilge speaker from the Dingle Gaeltacht in County Kerry.
She was educated from the age of three to eighteen entirely through Irish Language Medium Education, and she also completed a BA in Media Arts with Irish in the Dublin Institute of Technology.
Siobhan produced, directed and presented bilingual programming for BBC, RTÉ, TG4, UTV, Raidió na Gaeltachta, Raidió na Life and more.
She is a regular contributor to Irish language media outlets including BBC and Raidió na Gaeltachta.
Siobhán is a co-founder of Gaeil Nua-Eabhrac, an Irish Language group in NYC that organizes Irish Language events, including Pop up Gaeltachts, thoughout NYC. She has also produced and curated two Irish Language events with the Irish Consulate in New York.
Siobhán is passionate about teaching and sharing the Irish Language and the Culture around the language. She has been teaching Irish Language Classes with the Irish Arts Center since 2016.
Siobhán has also been invited to teach and lecture at other Irish Language Organizations including NYU’s Glucksman Irish House, Gaelic American Club, Fairfield, Connecticut and The Gaelic League, Albany.
